A native of Tirana, Albania, Mr. Dilaveri came to the United States in February of 1995 as part of a foreign exchange program in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
After obtaining a Magna Cum Laude degree in Business Administration and History, Mr. Dilaveri attended the University of Kansas School of Law. Upon graduation in 2004 he moved to Rochester where he clerked at the Public Defenders Office, where he gained experience in all areas of criminal law.

Mr. Dilaveri is a part-time assistant professor at St. Mary's University, teaching graduate level law courses. Additionally, he is a nationally licensed soccer coach and he coaches around the Rochester area.

Mr. Dilaveri is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association and the Olmsted County Bar Association.

In addition to English and Albanian, Mr. Dilaveri is also proficient in Italian and Spanish.
